CCB Envico was commissioned to construct the $8 million Janefield Sewerage Flow Control Facility located at Kurrajong View in Mill Park, Victoria.

 

CCB Envico was commissioned to construct the $8 million Janefield Sewerage Flow Control Facility located at Kurrajong View in Mill Park, Victoria.

 

This project involved incorporating an 8m deep x 40m long x 50m wide – 8 million litre reinforced concrete in-ground storage facility, excavated through rock. The facility included a valve gallery, 2 pumping stations with transfer pumps up to 55kW. The installation was also supplied with a ferric chloride dosing facility, an integrated flushing system (Vacflush) using a reinforced concrete vacuum chamber and associated supporting infrastructure, including 450mm field pipe work, live cut-ins to existing sewers, ancillary road works and extensive landscaping of 8000m2 of parkland abutting the lower plenty gorge, as reinstatement after works completion.
